Blencowe Resources continues to build momentum at its Orom-Cross graphite project, with new Beehive drilling delivering thick, high-grade near-surface intercepts and clear evidence of scale. As multiple +30 metre hits reinforce continuity and expansion potential, Beehive is emerging as a significant resource growth driver—set to further expand Blencowe's overall JORC resource as the company looks to close out Phase 1 funding.
Blencowe Resources (LSE: BRES) last week delivered another strong set of drill results from its Beehive deposit, further reinforcing the scale, continuity, and near-surface potential of this emerging graphite discovery within the Orom-Cross project.
The latest assays from 36 shallow drill holes—part of a wider 110-hole Stage 7 programme—continue to highlight Beehive as a significant and rapidly advancing resource opportunity.
The results underline a consistent theme: broad, high-grade graphite mineralisation starting at surface.
Key highlights include:
Importantly, all holes intersected mineralisation, with many ending in graphite—pointing to further upside below current drilling depths.
While the programme aimed to define the northern limits of Beehive, results are now indicating additional expansion potential of up to ~400 metres, particularly toward the northern and western zones.
To date, Beehive has already been outlined over:
With mineralisation remaining open, the deposit continues to grow in both scale and confidence.
These results form a key part of the dataset required for a maiden Beehive JORC Mineral Resource, targeted for Q2 2026.
Crucially:
Beehive is now shaping up as an additional contributor to Orom-Cross resource growth, following the recent Iyan mineral resource increasing Blencowes overall JORC Mineral Resource by 66%. Blencowe Increases JORC Mineral Resource Estimate to 43.0Mt - A 66% resource increase from initial MRE
Alongside the ongoing drilling success, Blencowe is advancing strategic funding discussions to support the next phase of development at Orom-Cross.
With a growing resource base—now significantly expanded following the Iyan JORC and with Beehive progressing toward its own maiden resource—the project is increasingly demonstrating the scale and quality required to attract funding, offtake and strategic partners.
As Western markets look to secure non Chines critical minerals, Blencowe is well placed to be one of the next, near-term, material producers of high quality graphite globally.
